Pennsylvania eHealth Initiative

QuiqMeds is an active member of Pennsylvania eHealth Initiative (PAeHI). Created and initiated by the State in 05, PAeHI is a voluntary, public-private, non-profit coalition to bring together Pennsylvania’s healthcare and business stakeholders to develop a vision and a plan for the future of health information technology and the secure exchange of health information in PA. The 240 organizations involved include government, insurers, hospitals, physician practices and healthcare organizations.  

Bonnie Stys, EVP of Pharmaceutical Services at QuiqMeds is member of the BAT (Business Analysis and Technology Committee) of PAeHI. BAT focuses its efforts on interoperability standards, tools to implement or facilitate health information exchange (HIE) or specific health information technologies (HIT), and the business case for adoption of HIT tools.
