History of QuiqMeds
QuiqMeds has developed a proprietary delivery system which enables physicians to provide prescriptions directly to their patients, at the point of care, in their office in a cost effective, compliant manner.
The Company was organized in late 2004 as a Pennsylvania Limited Liability Company and is based in Blue Bell, PA. In 2008, Quiq LLC was converted to a Delaware Corporation, Quiq, Inc.
The Company has invested over 10 man years to date in developing its proprietary system incorporating the following:
- a controlled-access inventory control center which can hold over 700 unit-of-use packages;
- a printer for labeling and patient information documentation;
- platform-independent local software;
- a touch screen entry device;
- a server, battery backup;
- a closed, fully secure wireless network.
The system includes Intra-office software that provides:
- order entry and processing;
- patient data base querying;
- labeling and documentation;
- transaction tracking;
- cashbox reconciliation and reporting;
- inventory management;
- reordering/restocking;
- transaction logging;
- expiration date monitoring, system monitoring;
- security; encryption services;
- administrative reporting functions;
- training and 1-800 Help Desk support.
Support services include:
- stock delivery;
- transaction log archiving;
- cash box reconciliation reports;
- patient data management;
- patient contact services;
- recall notification services;
- quarantining and inventory management of mis-delivered or outdated inventory;
- report capabilities to track prescribers performance.
